Siobhan Reddy and ‘LittleBigPlanet’ – User experience as an added value for educational games

Siobhan Reddy, director of the Media Molecule studio, creators of the innovative and successful “LittleBigPlanet” franchise, will share details of this highly acclaimed title with Gamelab 2011 attendees. In the videogame, players can generate items, stages and levels and this has become a revolution in educational and intuitive games for the general public. Siobhan, recipient of the Microsoft’s Women in Gaming Award for Best Production, has opened a new way in training and learning for the end user with games that are intuitive and demand cooperation and collaboration between users.

Reddy became fascinated with technology, pop culture and entertainment during her job at Spike Wireless in Australia, where she was born. At 18, she moved to the UK and entered the videogame industry as assistant producer at Perfect Entertainment for “Discworld Noir”. Today, Siobhan continues to produce surprising and innovative projects and leads a team of the most creative, passionate and talented professionals in the industry.
