For the second time in a row, the Spanish city of Gijón welcomes Gamelab, the International Interactive Entertainment Fair. 
The capital city of the Green Coast in the northern region of Spain, Asturias, has much to offer the visitor as an important industrial, tourist and artistic center. There is so much the visitor can do, whether it be business related or just leisure and sightseeing, when not attending the Gamelab events.
The Laboral of the City of Culture is an especially attractive place to hold conferences, cultural get-togethers and social acts. There a a great number of spaces with varied architectural elements, as well as distinctive rooms.
The registration area and where the main Gamelab events are to be held is situated inside the recently refurbished theater, the Teatro de La Laboral, right in the heart of the City of Culture.
To complement the main Gamelab 2009 activity, there is an interesting catalogue on offer where micro events and get-togethers outside the venue will be taking place. One of the moments causing much expectation is the Gala Night for the II Industry in Spain Awards; this celebration will be held in the Sala Acapulco room in the Casino of Asturias.
